The course aims to enhance the knowledge and basic care for nurses who can provide quality nursing care to orthopaedic patients and provide a training platform on basic orthopaedic nursing for nurses who are interested in this field or before taking advanced studies in orthopaedic nursing.

Course objectives:

Learning Outcomes: 1. Apply the knowledge and skills to the nursing observation and management on joint replacement;
2. Demonstrate collaborative relationships with members of the health care team, patients and families; and
3. Critically evaluate current literature and utilize relevant up-to-date evidence to identify appropriate policies, management strategies and education for patients who joint replacement applied for.
