Orthopaedic Basic Training Course

Objectives:

1. To enhance the knowledge and basic care for nurses who can provide quality nursing care to Orthopaedic patients.

2. To provide training platform on basic orthopaedic nursing for nurses who are interested in this field or before taking advanced studies in orthopaedic nursing.

 

Target Participants:

i) Nurses from various HA hospitals or private hospitals with at least one year of post registration experience, AND

ii) Members of HKAON/ HKCON

 

Course Information:

Date: 20th August 2020 – 27th November 2020 (Every Thursday)

Time: 18:30 – 20:30

Venue: Online via Zoom for lectures
Compulsory POP workshop at Tsim Sha Tsui Oriental Centre, 17/F, Room 1701

Examination: Multiple-choice questions to be conducted online within the periods of 23th November 2020 and 27th November 2020.

Class Capacity: 70

Duration: Total 24.5 hours, lectures: 20 hours, POP workshops: two identical workshops and 4 hours for every session, examination: 0.5 hours

Course Fee: HK$3,000

Fees are neither refundable nor transferable

Award:

A Certificate of Completion will be issued to participants who have an attendance of not less than 80% and passed the course assessment.

Individual cheque is required for EACH course application.

Separate cheque is required for HKAON membership fee.
